Vancouver Lindy Exchange 2003

Now that the hiatus from lindy is nothing more than a faded memory, I can get back to the exchange scene.  And what a nice way to get back to the exchange scene: the Vancouver Lindy Exchange (photos here).  Laid back Canadians, a beautiful city and wonderful sushi.  What could make it better?  Staying at Iain's, but of course.  802.11b, a gold standard for any host.

So, what did I like:

bulletHaley - Dancing with you never fails to put me onto cloud 9 *sigh*
bulletMariah - I wish I could steal you and bring you back to Houston with me ... even when you're soggy, you're still wonderful to dance with
bulletCelia - You need to go to more exchanges ... trust me ;)
bulletKevin - I told you I was going to put those videos on the internet! (A very drunk Kevin at Herrang in 2002, video 1 and video 2)
bulletRayned - As Shawn said, you are truly a god in the booth ... plus, you're fun to hand out with to boot!
bulletBarb - Thanks for hauling my butt around Vancouver.  I'm sorry we didn't get to dance together, but I promise to make it up to you in Seattle.
bulletDC Dave - I've said it before, I will say it again.  I will not pay up :P
bulletMira - Yeah!  I finally get to see one of my favorite Montrealers out and aboot!  It was so wonderful that you could join us for dinner. 
bulletHarrison - It was great to finally meet you man ... you definitely have one of the most distinctive styles I've ever seen on the dancefloor ... and the sunglasses :D I guess it goes along with being a cocky lindy snob.
bulletJocelyn - Wow.  Just check out my choice for best dance.
bulletDima - Another lead that I see all the time and finally get to hang out with.  You were a source of constant chuckles the entire weekend.
bulletKristi - Another laugh maker.  Thanks for the good times and great dances!  We'll see more of each other in Seattle, yeah!
bulletHeide - I always have a good time dancing with you, hon!  I can't wait to see you back in San Fran.
bulletVancouver Jim - Why didn't you bring your couch to the dances?
bulletBethany - I had a blast watching you and Harrison dance together.  More dances with me in Seattle ... I promise ;)
bulletDarren  - My hair is redder than yours! :P
bulletHeidi - Thank you for making a wonderful weekend damn near perfect
bulletShawn - I'll make you a cup of coffee any time, buddy.  And by the way, thanks for the presents!  The blueberry flavor was very tasty!
bulletIain - Thanks for being such a wonderful organizer and host!  Besides, any host with 802.11b deserves much respect ;)
